William McDade | Director of Customer Service
Rigaku Americas | Texas, USA
William graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology focusing on Industrial Management. He has been with Rigaku for 29 years, with experience as a product manager, helping with the development, manufacturing, and servicing of Rigaku cryogenic devices. Later, he moved into the service department as an Analytical X-ray Specialist, supporting customers in the field on Material Analysis instruments and, after several years, became the XRD Service Manager. Now, as Director of Customer Service at Rigaku Americas Corporation, with all his years of customer service experience, his primary responsibility is to ensure the highest-level customer satisfaction for all Rigaku users. Tim Ayers | Life Science Service Manager

Tim Ayers joined Rigaku in 2000 as a bench technician before becoming an Analytical X-ray System Specialist. He has maintained a steady commitment to the high quality of customer service Rigaku delivers to all customers across the globe. After over two decades of dedicated service in the field, Tim has accepted the role of Life Science Service manager, with a strong passion for supporting our Field Service Engineers with the resources needed to allow them to continue delivering superior service. Marshall Quigley | Contracts Service Manager
Rigaku Americas | Texas, USA
Marshall has been with the Rigaku Service Department for 17 years, starting as a Field Service Technician, providing customers with superior service to keep their X-ray analytical instruments performing at a high level. Given his attentive nature and focus on customers, he made a natural transition to XRF Service Manager, leading the technicians and supporting customers in a variety of ways, including prompt remote support, swift scheduling of onsite visits, and incorporating customer feedback to improve service offerings. Marshall was instrumental in establishing the Service Training Center at our Rigaku Americas Headquarters in The Woodlands, TX, to provide a hands-on environment to train technicians and continually improve their skill level. Lately, Marshall has worked on several product development projects to help customers make data-based decisions to ensure maximum uptime of their equipment. Bailey Newsom | Service Contract Specialist

Bailey graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She began working at Rigaku in 2022 and became the go-to person for providing customers with service contract quotes. Bailey has helped the service team progress and strive to reach monthly goals set for the department. She is specialized in helping customers find the best level of coverage for their needs. Matthew Dunlap | XRD Service Manager
Rigaku Americas | Texas, USA
Matt graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Software Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Information Technology. After college, Matt joined the Navy in 2009, where he received world class electronics training and was responsible for maintenance and repair on the Aegis combat system on DDG 83, USS Howard. During his time on the USS Howard, he earned the rank of Petty Officer First Class (E-6) and was awarded six medals before leaving the Navy in 2015. He then joined Rigaku Americas Corporation as a Field Service Technician on both XRD and XRF instruments. He was able to bring his deep knowledge of the technical aspects of XRD instruments into the office as technical support in 2019, and was soon promoted XRD/XI service manager. He is now working towards his Master’s in Business Administration at Sam Houston University to help further his career. Edwin Miskell | Service Training Manager
Rigaku Americas | Texas, USA
Edwin began his career at Rigaku as an Analytical X-ray Systems Specialist in 2007 where he installed, repaired, and maintained XRD, XRF, and SAXS systems. In 2017, he took over the Service Training Center as the Service Training Manager. He provides hands-on trainings with XRD and XRF products for Analytical X-ray Systems Specialists, Rigaku distributors, and customers to enhance their skills for maintaining Rigaku products. Alexandria Stevenson | Service Training Specialist

Alex graduated in 2017 from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences. She continued her college career at Midwestern State University and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Geosciences in 2020. During her time in college, she used Rigaku products for her research and thesis work.
