User maintenance training
What is user maintenance training?
You will learn how to conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting in this training.
You should have a scheduled preventative maintenance visit by Rigaku engineers, but there are also many things you can do to avoid unscheduled downtime and keep your instrument running. This includes changing air and water filters, changing X-ray tubes or filaments, greasing gears, etc.
Learning how to do basic troubleshooting could help you avoid paying for unnecessary service visits or take an advantage of remote support.
What is included in the training?
The training course at the Rigaku service training center in The Woodlands, TX, is available at a flat rate. This rate includes:
Two-day hands-on training
At Rigaku service training center in The Woodlands, TX. Depending on your experience level, you can add another day for an additional cost.

- SmartLab (excluding SE model)
- ZSX Primus
- ZSX Primus IV
- ZSX Primus IVi
- Supermini200
- Simultix 15
up to two participants
Up to two people can be trained for the same price.
We recommend you sign up for another training course when three or more people need to be trained so that everyone can spend sufficient time working on the instrument.

What if my instrument is not available at THE Rigaku service training center?
If your instrument is not listed above, you can use the three-day on-site user maintenance training at a flat rate. This includes three-day training at your facility using your instrument. Up to three people can participate.

To learn how to run measurements and analyze results, you can participate in the Rigaku application training courses.
